lack of updates

I am so sorry that i only provide for a full update of my taipei trip only now. I have been back from taiwan for two weeks plus and so many things have happened within this two weeks. Below is a brief summary:

1. I have went for an interview and received notice that i am given the offer. If nothing goes wrong, i will get the offer letter next week. I will really miss my colleagues alot esp those who went thru alot together with me!

2. Went back to work on 4th and 5th of Sep even thou i am supposed to be on leave as they are rushing for reporting. Manager Lee gave us a treat at Kushinbo to thank us for our efforts. At night, went to Vivo to meet wen, yee and xin for my birthday celebration. Yee forgot to bring my pressie, ha as usual.

3. Have an early celebration for my birthday with my sec sch pals on 6th Sep at ben's house. It was a join celebration as ben's birthday is on the 5th. But i feel so peiseh cos the buffet is paid by his parents. I dragged yee along and she passed me my pressie (super happy cos that pressie is super pretty and its what i ask her to buy, muahaha, see below pic for my present, its a highligter cum blusher) and my CFA books (super sian cos tons of reading to do). I also liked the present from zhen alot, its a DIY necklace and handphone chain. They are also super pretty, thanks zhen! And also the cucumber eye masks from kai and the rest, i think i really need them!

4. Went for buffet at Furama Riverfront with my parents for my birthday celebration. The food is good and the service is excellant. The only thing bad is i woke up super late that day and had a late breakfast so i wasnt even hungry when i went for the buffet. Daddy gave me the buffet club membership sub-card as my birthday present. He knows i love to eat buffet and with this card, i can get 20% discount at those paticipating buffets which include quite a few hotels. After eating, we went to shop at OG at bugis. I bought KOSE's eye cream at $61! So ex but then my mgr is using it and she say its super good. Moreover, alot of my friends told me that my eyebags are getting worse, so must really start doing treatment. Regret not buying it in taiwan!

5. My mentor grp pple really surprised me by buying a cake and old chang kee and celebrating my birthday for me at the pantry on 9th Sep. At that moment, i felt really touched and abit guilty. I really did not expect that at all! Thanks wai teng for organising and thanks for the bag u got me from bangkok! Went for engagement dinner at Amara Hotel that night and i can say the food there is really great! Kaoz, i think i am really a pig! Eat so many buffet within the two weeks.

6. Turned 23rd angrily on 10th Sep 08. I went back office to get partner to sign my exemption form even thou i am supposed to be at home. I decide to stay in office to work since i am already there. But ended up, i didnt manage to get a single thing of mine done cos i am helping to clear my previous job's EQUAR points. I dun mine helping to clear but what made me angry is i think those points are completely irrelevant and a waste of my time (even my senior agree). But, i still want to thank Ru, Wendy, Jiajing and Wei leong for giving me a treat at Sakae and buying me a cake from Secret Recipe on that day! I am so sorry that i am abit pissed off and ruin the atmosphere. Love you guys really alot, i couldnt imagine how my life in Deloitte will be like without u guys!

7. I have become addicted to the show "Fang Yang De Xin Xin" ever since i came back from taiwan cos i catched a few episodes of it there. It is really very nice! I bought the DVD right after i came back. Its starred by Lin Zhi Yin and a korean girl. After watching the show, i really feel like going to watch a live F1 show cos lin zhi ying is a F1 racer inside!
