Back from taiwan (edited on 12 Sep)

I am back! Didnt bought much things back this time cos there is nothing much to buy, abit disappointed. I still have 2100 NT left. I am calling an end to my trip to taiwan every year, ha, its getting boring. This time its really more of an eating trip bcos i spent most of the time eating. My itnerary is as below:

Day 1

Arrived at taipei airport at six plus (which is late) bcos the pilot overshot! This is the first time where i experienced a pilot u-turning the plane for the landing! Ha, at least he manage to land safely in the end. After that, we managed to catch the last bus of Freego to our hotel. Freego changed the way they operate, instead of fetching us straight to our hotel, we would have to change to take another bus at around taipei main station. This wasted quite some time and end up we reached our hotel at eight plus. Went for dinner at a jap restaurant in ximending straight after placing our luggage . Its ex, cost me $875 NT for two people and its not buffet style. But i would have to admit the food is nice! We saw a super cute toy poodle while shopping at xi men ding!

Day 2
Wanted to go for wen quan on the second day but due to the hot weather and after making our way up to the mountain areas, we feel so hot that we feel like gg for cold springs instead of hot springs. But anyway, we went to the museum and the magnificent hot spring valley.

My favorite drink in taiwan!

Day 3

The whole highlight of the trip is on this day where we made our way to jay's restaurant. The address is 250 Wu Xing street . Its inside the medical university. Even thou we took a cab there but we still have to walk inside cos its quite ulu. Anyway, ask those friendly taiwanese, they will surely guide you to the place. The place is crowded man. Personally, i feel that the food is not fantastic but the ambience is good for me as a jay fan. Jay even left his golden horse award there!

After having lunch at mr jay's restaurant, we went shopping at wu fen pu. After shopping for a few hrs, we went to eat pao pao bing! I think it taste the same as Monster Ice and its much cheaper!

Day 4

Basically, i think we did nothing much on thurs. The only thing i can remember is we went to SOGO to eat din tai fung and we shopped at the underground mall. I LOVE Taipei's din tai fung! Its cheap and fabulous! It really taste much much nicer than the ones in Singapore! My sis almost kill me when eating cos when i bite the xiao long bao, the juice inside spilled out and landed on her clothes, hahaha. Oh ya, we went to do manicure on that day too at shilin night market. Its very cheap as compared to singapore's. I did mine for only 590 NT (less than S$30) and i got four crystals on every finger. So sad, i took them all out shortly after i came back to Singapore as i went for an interview on the wed after i came back.
