tolerance

Went down to Tan Tock Seng Hospital today with my mum and granny. Actually, i wanted to have a showdown with the doctor, asking them what the shit are they doing. After examining my granny for so long, they cannot even confirm what disease is she suffering from. But, today the doctor confirmed to us that she has have got Alzeimer's disease-dementia but is in the early stage. For the next appointment, she will have to see a psychologist to take those mental tests le and the doctor warned us that as she progresses, her condition will get worse and there is no cure for this disease. They can only provide her with medicine to slow down the deterioration.

There was this auntie with the same fate as my mother in the sense that they have to take care of their dementia mother. This auntie got two elder brothers and her mother left all her money and flat under the sons' name. After her mother gt this disease, her sons threw her out of the house and the auntie took her mother in. SEE, I HOPE I DUN EVER GIVE BIRTH TO GUYS NEXT TIME! Her mother was wheel chaired bound so everytime when she need to go to the hospital for check up, she need to send for the ambulance and her mum got no money at all. So the auntie has to bear all the expenses herself and her stupid brothers have just taken the money and not visited their mother for almost ten years.( I hope these pple get some incurable disease themselves!) What is worse now is the auntie's husband's business is not doing well so she said she everytime hide in the toilet and cry. Sad rite? I feel very sad after hearing her story. Its all the fault of some stupid guys!!!

After today, i realise something. We always like to complain that we are very suay or unfortunate when something bad happen. But when u look around, there are always pple who are more suay than us but they are still putting on a strong fight. So, actually we should just stop whining and put on a strong fight too. Three cheers to all the patients who are fighting hard against their diseases!!!

I met an ah pek who has dementia too at the hospital today and he look at me with a very innocent look. I looked at him and smiled and then he smiled back at me. At that very moment, i realise what is happiness and contentment.
