jiajing's 22nd birthday celebration
Yesterday we had a really memorable nite celebrating jiajing's 22nd birthday at Timbre which is located near the old national library. Its a pub with a live band. We reached there at abt 7.30pm but the live band starts at around nine. We ordered their pizza as cass recommended. Well, the food is okay but not really fantastic. The highlight of the day was how we sabotaged jiajing, the birthday girl. We actually asked her to go on stage so that we can take a pic of her standing behind the mike. Her whole face blushed when she was doing so as there were alot of pple below the stage. Then, the second sabotage was when we dedicated a birthday song to her thru the live band. When the lead singer asked us what her name is, we actually shouted "Maria!" Hahaha, so evryone else thought our friend was named maria. We bought a cake for her and so qiao there was another guy named Andrew at the pub who was celebrating his 21st birthday. So, we asked jiajing to pass him a piece of cake. Jiajing's face again blushed, so so so funny! Andrew is really a gentleman, jiajing only treated him to a small piece of cake, he actually treated jiajing to a drink.
Timbre is really a nice place to chill out, drinking some alcohol and enjoy the live band at the same time. I like the atmosphere, its not too nosiy and smoky. I drank lychee martini yesterday, first time drinking that. Well, i quite like the taste of it, i felt it was much better than vodka. But, choco martini sucks! I drank my friend's long island too, its also very nice! Ha, after that when we were on our way to the mrt, jiajing actually cannot walk in a straight line, think she is getting abit tipsy but she insisted she is alright, so so funny again! Cass even imitated how she walked to her.
